What does it take to be a champion?
Can a martial art support a parent’s instruction?
To excel in any endeavor, individuals need to have a strong set of values and a solid character that gives them perseverance to achieve his or her goals. The ZR TEAM Future Champions Program was created to provide children ages 3-15 with an environment that allows them to experience and understand core values like focus, discipline, persistence, cooperation and respect.
As a contact sport, ZR TEAM Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu provides a very challenging yet safe and caring environment for a child to mature towards a real life champion. The outcome of continued childhood practice of ZR BJJ goes far beyond the accomplishments on the mats.
The discipline and excellence demanded by our instructors often carries over to the child’s behavior at home and at school.
Our Future Champions Program is typically subdivided in three different groups to accommodate students of different ages and skill levels:
- Little Champions I (3-6 years old);
- Juniors (7-9 years old);
- Teens (10-14 years old).
History has shown that martial arts can be an excellent teacher for children to learn life skills such as discipline, mental strength, focus, hard work, integrity, confidence, teamwork, and more. Ultimately, martial arts are about continuous self-improvement physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
The philosophy of our Future Champions Program is to help build life skills for your child through martial arts. Your child will inherit confidence, mental strength, discipline, focus, and much more. Of course, the goal is also to bully-proof your child against bullies. During a child’s formative years, it is critical for a child not to become a victim of bullying. The scars of bullying can last a lifetime and can destroy self-esteem and confidence. The “Little Champions” Program is a 360 degree approach to your child’s overall wellness.
“There is no losing in Jiu-Jitsu. You either win or you learn”
